Each state has different requirements for continuing education including the total number of CE's required and the type of credits that will be accepted. Also, some states limit the number of HOME STUDY hours that will be allowed. All of our courses are considered HOME STUDY and all of our courses are direct patient related in content as well as specific to the Respiratory Therapy profession.

If you are not sure of your specific state requirements, please check with your STATE BOARD. Most states list their website or phone numbers on the back of the license you carry in your wallet. With a simple phone call, or website visit to your state board, you can verify your requirements for CE's and where you are allowed to get them. A few states accept only AARC approved courses which can be costly. If your state allows other accrediting bodies such as other Respiratory Care Boards or other state Nursing boards, they will probably accept CE credits from TheCePlace.com. We are accredited by the California Board of Registered Nursing provider number CEP 15024 and accepted by most states for Nursing and Respiratory Therapy.

We have verified acceptance of our courses through many of the states and have listed those currently verified below. As we continue to verify more states, we will update this list, however, oftentimes, state boards will make changes to their requirements. Therefore, it is impossible for us to guarantee the accuracy of this list. It is your responsibility to check with your state board if you are not sure.

If your state is not listed, it does not mean our CE's are not accepted, only that we have not yet verified acceptance. If you are unsure of acceptance, (listed here or not), PLEASE check with your state board before you purchase CE's from us or any other provider.
